National Federation of Builders (NFB) Area Manager Nicki Hunt-Davison is proud to be holding a South West Construction Convention in Bristol on the morning of Wednesday 26 October
The purpose of the convention is to bring together all sectors of the construction industry. Nicki tells us that she is excited to bring together everyone from a local start-up wanting to grow their business right up to leading principle contractors. They will be joined by industry experts from local authorities, local training groups, architects and various suppliers to the trade. Nicki says “I have been with the NFB now for 10 years and am very proud to represent the industry on a local level. I will be hosting a number of presentations throughout the day with speakers from some of the most influential organisations across the region that will be able to talk you through projects they are currently working on or have planned for the near future and the opportunities available for your company to tender for this work. There will also be the opportunity to network with fellow delegates and leading industry experts”.
Speakers already confirmed include:
NFB Policy Team
House Builders Association
NFB Heritage Group
Representatives from the National Trust
CSCS – Talking about the Heritage card
Regentsmead will be discussing how lending can be structured for development projects.
The South West is experiencing growth in both house building and heritage work locally. The convention will focus strongly on these two areas so Nicki is keen to ensure that everyone who is currently working in, or has aspirations to grow their business in these sectors of the industry gets the chance to come along and network. This includes suppliers to the trade.
Entrance is free of charge but it is vital that you register in advance
