Event description

Description

At a time when expertise is under increasing assault, we're keen to establish meaningful and mutually beneficial relationships between researchers, pracitioners and policymakers, and to explore the opportunities for our research to have lasting, valuable impact on policy formation.

Join us for a day of case studies, workshop activities and roundtable discussions, sharing ideas for and experiences of influencing public policy through research.

Professor Laura Salisbury, PI of the Wellcome-funded Waiting Times project based at the centre, will introduce the day and the key themes and we will have presentations by:

The DeStress Project
Rethinking Sexology
Waiting Times
Life of Breath
The PARC Project

Lunch, coffee/tea and refreshments and a wine reception will be provided. Please let us know of any dietrary requirements.

Travel bursaries are available for postgraduate researchers. Please contact m.flexer@exeter.ac.uk.
