Following the restructure of our South West Regional Excellence Network, we are pleased to hold our first in-person meeting in the newly-formed region and welcome Emily Henderson as our Regional Clinical Lead for our South West Regional Excellence Network.
The event will bring together healthcare professionals from across the South West region to share expertise, build connections, and strengthen multidisciplinary approaches to care. Through interactive sessions and case-based discussions, participants will deepen their understanding of Parkinson’s management, explore innovative practices, and develop strategies to improve collaboration across services.
The day is designed to support both professional development and regional networking, to support delivery of consistent, high-quality care to people with Parkinson’s.
Topics on the day include:
- Tackling bladder symptoms in Parkinson’s
- A neuropsychiatry and Parkinson's workshop
- Exercise and physical activity service innovation
- An update from Parkinson's UK and the Excellence Network
- Rapid updates on the 2025 Bone Park 2 algorithm, new treatments and innovations
- Opportunity to network with colleauges across the region.
A full agenda for the day will be shared closer to the event.
Our events are aimed at and open to UK-based health and care professionals working or with an interest in Parkinson's, due to the clinical nature of the content.
