South Yorkshire Primary Science Open CPD Event

Attention all classroom teachers and subject leaders:

We are delighted to invite you to attend a FREE primary science CPD session run by award winning teachers from the Primary Science Teaching Trust hosted at Grenoside Primary School (S35 8QB) on Thursday, 20 November 2025, from 16:00 to 17:00.

The event is aimed at primary teachers, science subject leaders and Early Year practitioners who want to develop their confidence, subject knowledge and skills in teaching primary science. Attendees will take part in one of three workshops, please indicate your preferred session. Sessions will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and we will do our best to accommodate preferences.

Sessions include:

• Creative science in the EYFS

• Effective approaches to teaching scientific vocabulary

• Scientist's Story Time: Bringing Careers to the Classroom
