What is a Climate Café?
What is a Climate Cafe? A climate café is a simple, empathetic space where fears & uncertainties about our climate & ecological crisis can be safely expressed. This is a model established by the Climate Psychology Alliance.
Climate Café is a sharing and processing group. We work from the premise that climate urgency is “real” and man-made - based on overwhelming scientific evidence.
The purpose of a local group is to foster a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space to share experiences and emotions, worries and hopes regarding climate urgency. In addition, sharing in the Climate Café might help you to develop new perspectives and be or become active in resolving the climate crisis.
Every participant is welcome to express their interests, concerns and emotions respectfully.
Here are some possible reasons you might be interested in attending. If just one of them resonates with you, please drop by!
