Event description

Description

Please note this event is by invite only for Southern Universities Network staff and key stakeholders who have been invited to attend.

Aims and Objectives

The Southern Universities Network are working in collaboration with Young Minds to build academic resilience in whole school communities.

These two introductory workshops will be run by staff from Young Minds. The course will draw on insights from social care, teaching, psychodynamic thinking and positive psychology, as well as the growing evidence base from around the world, to develop an understanding of how to ‘close the gap’ for the most vulnerable children and young people. In addition, participants will be encouraged to explore how the systems and processes in their own schools help to build resilience for ALL pupils/students.

There are two workshops: 12th December and 8th January. We would like you to attend both workshops so that you have a complete understanding of how this could benefit your school/ college. We will pay travel expenses and the cost for supply cover, if applicable. Please let us know if you can attend both.
