Southwark Unions Stand for Palestine

Join us for an inspiring evening of solidarity, learning and action at “Southwark Unions Stand for Palestine” — a community event bringing together union members, residents, and campaigners to demand ethical investment from Southwark Council. Research by the Palestine Solidarity Campaign reveals that the Southwark Local Government Pension Fund holds over £97 million in companies complicit in Israel’s actions in Gaza and the West Bank. This event is your chance to learn more, hear from speakers across unions and campaign groups, watch short films, and take part in open discussions. Together, we’ll explore how our community can unite to campaign for divestment in support of justice for Palestinians. Refreshments will be provided, and all proceeds go to charities working in Gaza.
