Join us for a collaborative session exploring how local food initiatives can drive
climate action while addressing food insecurity and supporting people in crisis.
Building on the momentum of Local Food Connections, this event brings together
growers, community organisations and advocates to share learning, spark
partnerships and strengthen joined-up responses that prioritise dignity, equity and
resilience in our food system
Event Outcomes -
1. Stronger Connections Across the Network
People working on food, climate, and community support will get to know
each other better and make new links to help join up their work.
2. Learning from Each Other
Everyone will hear about what others are doing, including GCFN’s Food and
Climate Action project and some local examples, and get useful ideas they
can take back to their own work.
3. Clear Next Steps for Working Together
The group will come up with ways to work better together to tackle food
insecurity and climate issues, with a focus on fairness, dignity and practical
support for people.
