Event Details

In this session we will explore the impediments to a good customer experience. We will explore mapping the customer journey and supporting a good sales experience through managing communication across a variety of mediums. With particular focus on utilising digital and social media platforms in supporting customer management. Drawing on our latest research in both customer experience management and digital sales management, will we explore not only the customers journey, but also the sales organisations journey towards omni-channel sales management.

 

Dr. Iain A. Davies (University of Bath)

 

Iain lectures, consults and researches in Sales and Key Account Management. He previously led research for the KAM Best Practice Club at Cranfield School of Management, and is widely published in leading management journals such as Harvard Business Review, Industrial Marketing Management and Business History as well as periodicals such as The Times, Winning Edge, HR Magazine and Sales Initiative Magazine. Prior to his academic career Iain held a number of posts in B2B Marketing including as a Strategy Consultant with Accenture, a Legal Policy Advisor in the Banking Sector for HMCE and working in sales and marketing in the fair trade industry.
