You will need to stay with your child to help them with their creations. There will be an artist helping, but your assistance is appreciated.

Do I need to pay for parking?

Yes, the car parking meter uses the RingGo app (please download the app before arrival) or accepts payment with coins.

Is the activity free?

Yes, we have some funding from the High Weald National Landscapes & Sussex Lund, however any donations would be greatly appreciated and help us to run future activities at the Bale House Visitor Centre.

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are welcome in the Bale House, but must be kept on a lead at all times.  If you're dog isn't good with crowds, then it would be best not to bring them along.

Is there another event in the evening on 2nd November?

Yes, the morning craft activities are a part of our Dark Skies @ The Bale House event, 6-9pm. This event will include a light pollution workshop, space talk and night time walk with red torches. Local astronomy groups will have their telescopes set up.The event is free but booking is essential.
