Airbus Foundation Discovery Space is hosting an event on Saturday 26th January 2019! This event has limited spaces and is bookable on a first come, first served basis!

After a very successful Space Saturday in October, the centre is opening its doors again to a number of lucky individuals. Whilst here, you will have the opportunity to explore all of our exciting exhibits, see our “Stories Amongst the Stars” Science show, and have the once in a lifetime opportunity to see the latest prototype of the ExoMars rover!

And for the eager scientists among you, we will also be offering two extra activities at an additional cost. These activities are bookable at a later date:

- “Slime to Go” £2 per person – We use simple household materials to make a brilliantly rubbery polymer. This activity is great fun and provides a versatile take home product which can be used in further science experiments.

- “Programme a Mini Mars Rover!” £4 per family – A great teamwork activity using both maths, and IT skills. Using Lego Mindstorms, families can learn to programme a mini Mars Rover to complete set challenges.

Ts & Cs:

Tickets are only bookable via Eventbrite, our ticket price is £5 however Eventbrite charges an additional 83p booking fee. Each ticket purchased allows one person access to the facility between 12:30 and 14:00. Under 2s visit for free. Tickets are sold on a first come first served basis. Under no circumstance will visitors be allowed to stay past their chosen time slot. All tickets are non-refundable/non-exchangeable. Details on how to book "Slime to Go" and "Programme a Mini Mars Rover" will be sent out once all the tickets have been sold.

All children must be supervised by an adult (18 years+) at all times. Maximum two children per adult, groups with more than two children per one adult may be refused entry.

Photographs and/or videos will be taken at the event. By taking part in the event you grant the event organisers full right to use the images/videos taken for fundraising, publicity, or other purposes to help achieve the centre’s aims. If you or your children do not wish to be shown in photographs, please inform us on arrival or prior to the event.
