What steps should the aviation industry take to plan for space weather?

This session will raise awareness and understanding of space weather. It will explain the impacts on aviation and how to plan for space weather.

The event will also consider the CAA’s CAP1428 document. To conclude, there will be a question-and-answer session.

The hour-long session will cover:

Introduction to space weather

Policy and regulation of space weather, including CAP 1428

Forecasting space weather

Impacts of space weather on aviation

How to plan for space weather

A Q&A session with our panelists
