Event description
An online discussion about the current issues facing creative groups and the spaces they occupy.

About this event

As creative groups start to reconvene after the restrictions of the pandemic, join us for a special #CreativeNetwork discussion about the current issues facing groups and venues in the UK and Ireland.

Date: Thursday 27 January 2022

Times: 09:30 - 10:30

Location: Online, via Zoom

The importance of appropriate community venues is a perennial issue for voluntary creative groups. In order to practice their creativity together, people need affordable places to meet, to rehearse, to practice and to perform.

In late 2021, Creative Lives conducted a survey about the issues facing creative groups and venues in the UK and Ireland.

In this free event, we’ll share the findings from our survey; explore the current issues and potential solutions; and showcase interesting and inspiring examples of different uses of public spaces for creativity.

Organised by Creative Lives.
