Spanish Reading Group: Exploring journalism

The Library of the Instituto Cervantes in Manchester invites you to join our Spanish Reading Group!

This is a wonderful opportunity for Spanish language learners to explore Hispanic literature in a friendly and welcoming environment, tailored to your level.

📖 December Session
In our December session, we’ll explore the art of the journalistic feature. Together, we’ll delve into current issues through the writing of two Spanish journalists: Sabina Urraca and Elena de Sus.
This session is ideal for intermediate students (B2+).

Come discover the eerie and captivating side of Hispanic literature!

The reading group is led by Luz Comendador (librarian), with academic support from Ana Valbuena (teacher at the Instituto Cervantes in Manchester).

Suitable for intermediate students: at B2+

Participants will receive the texts from our library so they can read them in advance.
