Anywhere is a Canvas
We are surrounded by canvasses to paint on. This session will not just get you thinking about murals and street art but what else could you paint on? We will get to think about fresh ideas about what your style is and the possibilities of where we can add paint!
Finding your style and opening up to the possibilities as we explore and imagine putting art in unexpected places.
For this session a range of objects and surfaces will be provided for you to transform. Participants are also welcome to bring along their own objects. Maybe you have a plate or an ornament that you were thinking of chucking away? With Primer and paints, we can see what we can transform it into.
Prior to this session, we're also asking if you can email in a drawing that you have done, which could also be inspired by the local environment. If you can email the drawing to Littlearthub.galashiels@gmail.com.
Please be aware, there will also be time allocated during this session to explore the potential of local canvasses and take photographs. If you have specific access needs or have worries about taking part in the walk please do let us know.
Your artist for this session will be Coz aka Eyesorecozza who has been bothering walls with paint at any opportunity for the best part of her life.
