Join Lara Greene: Artist, LAH member and Director of Transform Arts CIC for a session where your ideas and creativity are needed!
Help create fabric banners that will ‘pop up’ around Galashiels spreading positivity and colour. The banners come together during this second session where participants will combine the screen printed pieces from the previous session and join them into larger pieces along with a selection of inspiring reclaimed fabrics. Sewing and glueing to join pieces and patch on designs. Have fun with composition and go wild with larger design elements.
For people of any backgrounds and culture and however long you have lived here, your ideas and opinions matter and can be expressed through the art! By creating designs though simple paper cut out imagery and text, then using these as a template for your screen print, we will make vibrant collaborative banners to be shared with the wider community.
