Supervision for coaches is now a growing need with more corporate clients and associate consultancies expecting coaches to be in regular supervision. Accreditation and membership of coaching bodies is also driving the need for a supervisor.
We have been running a successful coach supervision group in Manchester since January 2012 and are now planning to replicate this formula in Liverpool in partnership with ITOL, the Institute of Training and Occupational Learning www.itol.org.
Here is what one happy participant wrote after a session:
"I thought the process of the actual supervision session robust and stimulating,I appreciated so much of what you did, Julia, but particularly, you:
You did establish rapport quickly and easily – more quickly than you think, I suggest. You are clearly a passionate and polished practitioner. I’m glad I came...."
- Explained it with ease
- Some of your questions are truly insightful and a-ma-z-ing
- I loved how you asked the presenter to turn his dilemma into a question for the group
- And the metaphor stuff is ace!
The group is open to all types of coaches whether independents or internal organisational coaches.
We will be running this as an open group as experience has taught us that this is more flexible for busy coaches. You are not tied into committed dates like some groups and can pick and choose which session to attend depending on your diary. However we offer a discount if you wish to book four sessions during the year in advance*. The rotating membership of the group makes for a rich learning environment. We flex between focussing on specific client issues/dilemmas that we can all bring along and themed input to develop our long term coaching capability.
Dates: April 1st, May 6th, June 3rd, July 8th, September 2nd, October 7th, November 4th (All Tuesdays)
Time: 3.15pm for 3.30pm – 6.30pm.
Venue: ITOL Offices at 20 Chapel St Liverpool L3 9AG
The cost of each session will be £75 (+VAT), and include refreshments for a facilitated group supervision session of 3 hours. Booking is in advance via Eventbrite or contact me for an invoice.
*Alternatively if you want to organise your coaching supervision to suit your professional and personal commitments, you can book and pay for ANY 4 SESSIONS now and get them at a discounted cost of £65.00 + VAT per session! (Contact email@example.com for further details.)
We provide you with a certificate of attendance for you to use as evidence of your CPD.
So what are you waiting for? 2014 could be the year you supercharge your coaching practise!
