Event description

Description

With new innovative and immersive technologies graduating from concepts into mainstream realities, there has never been a better time to explore the ramifications of how technology will influence how we engage with the built environment. Is the need to 'kick the tyres' of a property still relevant or are we entering a time where everything we need to inform a decision is accessible in the palms of our hands?

Join us for an evening of debate, drinks and networking with some of the industry's leading thinkers.

Tushar Agarwal: Hubble

Tushar is Co-founder & CEO of Hubble. Tushar started Hubble as a response to the way the future of work is changing how businesses find, rent and use their office space.

Hubble's vision is to be the world's first artificially intelligent commercial property broker that creates the perfect match between company & environment; speeds up office transactions by over 10x and enables flexible office space to become the norm, rather than the exception.

Tushar is an Economics graduate of the London School of Economics. Prior to Hubble, he worked as an Investment Banker at Greenhill, Barclays and Morgan Stanley."

Savannah de Savary: Built-ID

Savannah de Savary graduated from the University of Oxford as an academic scholar in Classical Archaeology and Ancient History and subsequently undertook courses in real estate at New York University. She joined the US property development company Thor Equities in 2013, where she managed Manhattan and Brooklyn-based development projects. After growing frustrated with the technology gap hindering efficiency in the industry, Savannah founded Built-ID: a discovery platform that enables members to discover project inspiration and the professionals behind it and to showcase their work and collaborations to an international audience of potential clients, investors and JV partners.

James Morris-Manuel: Matterport

James is presently EMEA Sales Director at Matterport. In 2009 he co-founded 360 virtual tour company Virtual Walkthrough, directing the company’s growth and emerging prominence before eventually overseeing its successful acquisition by US tech company Matterport in June 2016. James’ clients have included CBRE, British Land, Capco, JLL, Winkworth and Hammerson.

James started his career as a property agent, working for Cushman & Wakefield and Ayles Heath Buchanan Neve LLP, after which he decided to move into the property technology sector and focus on developing Virtual Walkthrough. James is a voice for the proptech industry, and a regular commentator in Estates Gazette and Property Week. He has featured in City AM, The FT, and other leading business and property titles and won the YN Rising Star of the Year award in 2015.
