An evening of poetry and spoken word in our cosy backroom hosted by Tilly Aistrop. The evening will begin with a set by an invited headlining act, showcasing some of the regions most exciting talent; previous headliners include Mwelwa Chilekwa, Nik, Mymona Bibi, Gary the Hat and more! This is then followed by a community open mic!
The open mic is an opportunity to share your work (5-10 mins) with a supportive crowd in an inclusive & friendly space. Whether it’s your first time performing or you’re a more experienced performer, this is the stage you want to be on- with like-minded creatives in crowd giving you all the encouragement you need. Open-Mic-Er’s also get in for free, so head down early and sign up to the open mic to secure your spot for free. Get here before 7:30 if you want to ensure your space as there’s only limited spaces and they run out quick!
