Write2Speak is an organisation that works closely with young people and adults of all backgrounds and abilities supporting them to express themselves through spoken word poetry, creative writing, and performance. We believe every voice has value and every person has the right to be heard. Our workshops inspire people to connect with themselves each other and the world around them. We provide people with the rare opportunity to think, write and share about the things that matter to them, equipping participants with the tool of spoken word as a creative outlet and potential lifelong passion.
Speak Up Enfield - A series of Free Spoken Word Poetry Workshops & Open-Mic Events at the Dugdale Arts Centre in Enfield. This event series is made possible with support from the Arts Council England and LocalMotion Enfield.
This project aims to give everyone the chance to express themselves through spoken word poetry, whether you ve a novice or an experienced wordsmith, you're invited to join us for a Public Workshop followed by an Open-Mic Event with Feature Performers!
Although we specialise in spoken word, we welcome artists of all kinds. We are particularly keen to hear from new voices who are local to Enfield. Although we are a 'Spoken Word' event we welcome Rappers, Singers, Musicians, Comedians & Performing Artists of all kinds!
Bring your best bars, poems, and vocals! Or simply come with open hearts and ears.
