Our Special Constabulary volunteers show courage, teamwork and compassion on a daily basis to make a real difference to people’s lives in the communities they serve.

We look for all kinds of skills, because we know it takes all kinds of people to protect the public. Problem solving, compassion, resilience, respect, courage and teamwork. These are the qualities we are looking for, and if you think you might have the skills to serve why not apply?

We are currently recruiting in the following locations: Portsmouth, East Hampshire, Havant/ Waterlooville, Isle of Wight, Fareham & Gosport, Hart & Rushmoor, Test Valley, Southampton & New Forest.

During this online event we will cover what it's like to be a Special Constable within Hampshire, the recruitment, application and selection process, and will be able to answer any questions you may have. You will also hear testimony and have the opportunity to speak to some current serving Specials
