What are Special Constables?
Special Constables are voluntary, part-time police officers who play a vital role in keeping our communities safe. As a fully trained Special Constable, you will have full police powers, wear a police uniform, and work alongside regular officers and police staff.
What will you learn at this event?
At this in-person event, you will gain insights into what it takes to become a volunteer police officer. You will hear from various departments and current Special Constables about the role.
