Special Educational Needs and Disability: strengthening partnerships across health and local authorities – NHS England East and Midlands Region
Monday 24 April 2017, Registration from 10:00
NHS England invites you to attend one of two sessions with colleagues from across the East and Midlands region. Much has been done across the region to establish strategic multiagency partnerships on SEND; this day is an opportunity to strengthen these, to share learning and increase regional SEND networking with colleagues from across health, local authorities and parent groups. There will be sessions on the day to update on progress nationally and regionally on programmes including NHS England’s SEND programme; Transforming Care for Children and Young People; Mental Health; parent participation and local area SEND inspections. Interactive sessions on a specific theme will be held in the afternoon to allow regional priorities to be developed across partners.
These sessions will be co-chaired by Patrick Nyarumbu, Deputy Director of Nursing and Regional SEND Lead, Midlands & East, NHS England and a Department for Education SEND Advisor.
