Discover Your Pathway at Middlesbrough College - SEN Open Event

If you’re a Year 11 student with an EHCP or SEND, or a parent/guardian supporting them, come along to Middlesbrough College’s SEN Open Event to discover the range of courses and pathways available to you.

At Middlesbrough College, 80% of our SEND students study mainstream vocational programmes from Level 1 to Level 3 across a variety of industries. The other 20% access our specialist Preparation for Adulthood (PFA) and Supported Internship programmes. At the event, we’ll provide detailed information and guidance on all of these options to help you find the right fit.

Our Additional Learning Support team will be on hand to talk through the application process, local authority consultations, transition planning, and the support available throughout your college experience.

You’ll also have the chance to meet specialist teaching staff from courses including:

  • Vocational Steps to Industry Skills
  • Preparation for Adulthood Skills for Independence & Employment
  • Supported Internships

Plus, representatives from local authority teams and support services in the area will be present, along with key college support departments such as Student Services and Careers will be available to offer advice and answer your questions.

How to attend:

Please register for your place by completing the online information form. Only one ticket per student is needed.
