Following our Spring Conference, we received lots of feedback from our members asking for more networking opportunities and after our summer drinks, we're now pleased to announce an informal evening of networking on Monday 10 October, kindly hosted by the Courthouse Hotel in Shoreditch.
As well as an opportunity to meet with other events managers from the sector, you'll hear from Paul Cartwright, who will talk about how we as events managers can build rapport with colleagues, peers and other stakeholders, from committee members to potential sponsors.
As an NLP Trainer and Major Donor Fundraiser, Paul Cartwright is an expert in communications skills and rapport building. Come along and hear him share his secrets of communication, including how to recognise someone’s preferred communication style, how to build rapport and how best to talk to a cat versus a dog. With his talk, Paul will help you build better relationships, network more effectively and have more confidence to engage with anyone, anywhere!
After the presentation, you'll have an opportunity to sample the Courthouse's cocktails and canapes, whilst catching up with other Special Events Forum members.
