How does Special Guest (open mic) work?

Sit back, listen, and enjoy the ride. Clap, cheer, and support your fellow special guests. If you want to, you can take the mic to share anything for 60 seconds: it's optional. "The idea is to create such a comfortable, inclusive environment that anyone can take the mic." – @ixta.belfrage

What kinds of things do people share at Special Guest?

Previously, members of the audience have taken the mic to… share their grandma’s wisdom, say what they wish they’d said to their ex, read an ode to plantain, apologise to their vagina, share their ride-or-die thing, ask for a hug, self-identify as an art hoe, form a human pyramid, and much more.

Can I come and go from the event?

After 10pm, once you’re in, you’re in! If you leave you can’t come back into The Gig Space as there’s a “no re-entry policy”. Inside there’s a bar, toilets, and a smoking area.

Are tickets available on the door?

Yes, tickets for shMOOD are £10 on the door. Card payment only. Tickets for Special Guest have sold out and won't be available on the door.
