Special iApps Digital Celebration 2016

We can't believe Special iApps is 5! We'd love you to join our digital birthday party - and taking part couldn't be easier!

This year we're making some virtual noise with our first ever Thunderclap. Follow this link to take part all you have to do is give us one click and the message is scheduled to be live in your feed on November 26th. Imagine the impact of everyone sharing the same message at once - that's where we're looking to expand our social media awareness.

There's another super simple way to get involved, and that's through the launch of our brand new Teaching Manual.  We're on the hunt for anyone working in Early Years: professionals, student teachers, volunteers... if you're interested, you're who we need. Sign up to try out our new Teacher Manual and app,  it's packed full of new resources as well as a few extra surprises!  We can only make things better for everyone involved with your feedback - so if you'd like to help us grow, expand and become even better, come and have a look at what we've been working on.

If you want to say you've been to an online party in 2016 - please sign up now!

Thank You to our sponsors and organisations helping to make this digital event happen:

Special iApps C.I.C.

Special iApps C.I.C. is a multi award-winning app developer based in the North East of England, founded in 2011 by Beverley and Colin Dean as a non-profit social enterprise. We couldn't find the apps we needed to teach our younger son William, who has Down syndrome. We found that most apps had too much going on in the background, weren't configurable or easily personalised, and didn't cater for William's limited finger skills. Over the years our apps have been enhanced to support children with a wide range of abilities and disabilities including autism, cerebral palsy, hearing and visual impairment. They are also used by typically developing pre-school children as well as adults with learning difficulties.  Find out more about us from our website:
