Arrive at 6:45pm for a 7:30pm start.
This session provides something to learn or share whether you’ve been a consultant for 5 months or 20 years. There will be a mixture of delegates with varying levels of experience as independent consultants.
We will swap information and tips of the business/industry knowledge and experience between newly established consultants and experienced ones – everything from networking experience to financial tips (e.g. which Insurer used or website support.)
Delegates will split into small groups and discuss key elements – then share with total group – either by brief verbal points or by ‘posting’ suggestions on flip charts etc. The ‘released’ knowledge will then be summarised and shared subsequent to the event to reinforce the learning. There will be an opportunity for delegates to decide on personal ‘top 3 tips’ and perhaps set a timeframe. Delegates encouraged to email/skype with their small group (or the wider group) on subsequent progress
Learning outcomes – delegates will leave with increased knowledge and guidance on all sides. They will be encouraged to consider shared working opportunities in the future.
No named speaker on this occasion - instead we will be getting into groups, swapping ideas and tips, then feeding back to the entire group.
