Special Interest Group - Equity, Diversity & Inclusion

Plunkett UK is continuing the Special Interest Group for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion which began in January. It is open to anyone interested in listening, thinking, talking and growing their understanding of EDI in rural communities. The group is committed to meeting twice a year, online, and anyone may join in at any time.

This session will recap what was discussed last time and then focus on the benefits of having a diverse range of ages within your community-owned businesses from the committee to staff, volunters, and more. There will be speakers from community-owned businesses, plus a Plunkett UK adviser on hand to answer any questions.

We’re all at different starting points, and we all have things to learn and teach; join us in a safe and respectful online space to listen and chat with others as we think about what EDI in rural communities looks like, how Plunkett could take action, and what community groups might think about to ensure inclusion for everyone in their communities.
