Presentation theme "Maintaining outstanding" Taking over an already outstanding school and maintaining it, while changing it and moving it forward,can be a poisoned chalice. Janet offers her thoughts on that challenge.

Presentation theme "I think we need a bit more grey" If the government figures are correct and there are 24,000 additional Special school places needed in the next seven years then the relationship between the sectors will need to change. This session will consider the challenges we may face, but more importantly how better developed partnerships between special and mainstream may be the answer.
