SpecialEffect Dublin Marathon 2022

This year, we're pleased to announce that we will have a team taking on the Dublin Marathon for the first time.

Dublin Marathon is known for its relatively flat course, with 20,000 runners from 60 countries taking part. It is currently Europe's 4th largest marathon and it is certainly a marathon to add to your list - and a good one if you're looking for a PB! The course starts in Fitzwilliam Street Upper, and finishes in Merrion Square close to the historic Trinity College.

Ticket price is for entering the marathon. You will need to arrange your own travel and accommodation. We're looking for individuals to pledge to fundraise a minimum of £1,500 for the charity.

SpecialEffect is a charity that puts fun and inclusion back into the lives of physically disabled people across the world. Your fundraising donations will be helping to make a very real difference to people’s lives, most of whom face unremitting daily physical challenges.
