Will I need to bring anything with me?

We will provide any necessary equipment. We also advise that you bring some snacks with you and wear appropriate footwear and clothing for the weather conditions on the day.

What happens if it rains?

We usually go ahead whatever the weather, we would only reschedule in extreme circumstances. If it’s really bad we will make a judgement call the day before or on the day of the event.

Will there be toilet facilities available?

No, there will be no toilets available on this site .,

Will we stop for a break?

We will not have a designated break time during our survey as the session is only 2 hours long. Feel free to take a break if you need one.

Join us for our second Waxcap survey of the season exploring the world of fungi!

What to expect:

Join us to survey Waxcaps and spot other fungi along the way with the help of different identification tools.

Whether you are a beginner or fungi enthusiast, this session will provide you with the opportunity to put your knowledge in to practice and gain hands-on survey experience.

Please note, this session is following up from a workshop hosted on the 29th of September.
