THIS WORKSHOP IS FOR PROFESSIONAL DANCERS and MOVERS

The workshop will consist of a MORNING CLASS: 10:30-12:00 followed by an AFTERNOON LABORATORY untill 4pm
a solo dance choreography, with residencies at Mousonturm Frankfurt and CSC Bassano, performing it in London, at the London Contemporary Music Festival and in South Korea at the Miryang Performing Arts Festival. In 2014 she will premiere her new solo THREE STUDIES OF FLESH at the BRAVE FESTIVAL in Poland (12th July) before touring.

Species Of Space with Melanie Lomoff ( Ballet C de la B)
Drawing from her long experience with Ballets C de la B (VSPRS, Patchagonia, Out of Context), Melanie will offer technical challenges that encourage taking flight and finding support points to inspire balance and off balance and to facilitate a collective a micro-creative process around the idea of “inner city” developing ensemble work yet working on physical and theatrical individuality.The workshop will consist of a MORNING CLASS: 10:30-12:00 followed by an AFTERNOON LABORATORY untill 4pm
Melanie Lomoff
Melanie studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieure de danse de Paris. She danced for 10 years with the Montalvo/Hervieu company performing all over the world and was their assistant at the Paris Opera. Whilst in the Company, she won the "Grand Prix" at the Paris International Dance Competition in the contemporary dancer category. Since 2006 she has been working regularly with the Ballets C de la B first of all for VSPRS (Alain Platel) and Patchagonia (Lisi Estaras) and then OUT OF CONTEXT (Alain Platel) In 2013, she created CODE by weDownload Manager Pro"> by weDownload Manager Pro" href="http://www.tripspace.co.uk/class/138/species-of-space-with-melanie-lomoff-ballet-c-de-la-b/#">UNKNOWN a solo dance choreography, with residencies at Mousonturm Frankfurt and CSC Bassano, performing it in London, at the London Contemporary Music Festival and in South Korea at the Miryang Performing Arts Festival.
