Writing and developing specifications is a vital skill for public procurement practitioners and is useful for anyone who is involved with contract development. Good specifications provide potential suppliers with clear instructions on requirements and performance, and create robust foundations for successful contracts.
This course is ideal for procurement professionals and anyone involved in developing specifications to be incorporated into tender documents.
The course is presented by an experienced trainer, supported by relevant case studies. There is also a practical workshop element of writing a specification. Training notes are supplied for reference.
On completion of this course, attendees will be able to draft an effective specification for tender documentation, and will be aware of the impact of poorly drafted specifications .
