Description

Study day for Speech and Language Therapy Assistants/Support Workers working with young children

Hosted by Twinkleboost Community Interest Company, Manchester Metropolitan University Speech and Language Therapy Department and the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists.

'Innovative Approaches and Developments for Speech and Language Therapy Assistants'. The day will centre around sharing new innovations, approaches and resources and provide a chance for SLTA's to reflect and plan for the year ahead.

Topics include 'Approaches to engaging young parents living in areas of deprivation, New innovations in parent training of children with ASD' from the Twinkleboost Team, and Louise Borjes, RCSLT professional development project coordinator, to present on the topic of apprenticeship routes.

Refreshments provided but lunch is not provided, cafe on site.

Cost: £5 per person.

Led by Caspian Jamie Lead Speech and Language Therapist and The Twinkleboost Team.
