Can I stay over the night before at the hotel?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The hotel have reserved us a number of rooms but these are on a first come first served basis The cost will be payable directly to the hotel . Wednesday 19th March - £125.00 per room per night. 
All rooms are inclusive of a hot buffet breakfast, leisure club access, Wi-Fi, Parking and VAT.

Question 2

Can I have dinner the night before at the hotel?

Accepted Answer

Yes we are hosting a pre conference dinner at the hotel and you are welcome to join us. The cost for the three course meal is £30. This will need to be paid direct to the hotel . They cater for all dietary needs.

Question 3

What is the catering for the event ?

Accepted Answer

Welcome Breakfast Rolls including Vegetarian Option Unlimited Tea, Various Coffee Options, Fruit & Herbal Teas with mid-morning and 
mid-afternoon treats 
Two Course Hot & Cold Restaurant Buffet Lunch catering for all dietary requirements
Chilled Infused Water and fresh fruit

Question 4

Taxi Sharing from/to Derby Station

Accepted Answer

We would recommend taxi sharing where possible as this is greener and will reduce costs. We  have a taxi sharing board  so you can link up with other delegates to arrange. https://padlet.com/LGAChildrensImprovement/shareataxi

Question 5

Is there parking on site?

Accepted Answer

Yes there is parking in the hotel car park and this is free to all delegates .  The hotel will be turning off the cameras for the day so you no longer need to register your car at reception. If the parking around the hotel is full, please follow the carpark round and use the underground car park.

Question 6

How accessible are the conference facilities ?

Accepted Answer

The hotel is very accessible and all the conference rooms are on the ground floor. Please let us know if you have any special access requirements so we can plan ahead.
