About this event
Introduction
If you are a team sport player who wants to improve the quality of your speed-agility training and thus get faster... this session is for you. #1: Tickets that Include Coaching Clinic
- Pre-session content: Gain an understanding of the categories of speed-agility and why it is important to have a well-rounded speed-agility program via educational content.
- Develop the base skills required for Speed-Agility (strong high-performance foundations)... 17 categories of ABC exercises
- Gain valuable jump and landing skills.
- Develop skills of readiness to react both static and dynamic.
- Learn about Acceleration, Deceleration and Change of direction
- Learn how to put the above skills together into drills
#2: Tickets that include Program
- A Speed Agility Plyometric Program on smartphone app (1-month 3x/week). The High-Performance Program includes Base agility skills, landing skills, static and dynamic readiness to react, initiation of movement, acceleration, deceleration, change of direction, variety of agility drills.

STEP 1
(Before purchasing your ticket)
Before purchasing a ticket for the event please be aware that you should be fit and well enough to participate in an exercise program. Martin Gallyer's skills are in working with competitive athletes and as such the orientation of the session will reflect this. The session is about coaching quality speed-agility and learning high-performance methods with technical feedback and in some cases there may be a hard work component. If you are a non-athlete and have no interest in improving performance then this may not be for you (there are many generalized workouts on YouTube for you to try!).
If you are unsure about any pre-existing conditions you may have, my services are non-medical in nature so I can not pass you fit to train, only a doctor can check your condition and advise on this. For a full list of the terms see here.
If on reflection this coaching clinic is not for you or don't agree to the terms then do not proceed to step 2.
STEP 2
(Pick a ticket)
Purchase the ticket that is most appropriate for you:
- Coaching Clinic Ticket: If you just want to get the pre-event material and attend the live event;
- Coaching Clinic + Program Ticket: If you want the information and a follow-up program.
STEP 3
(Before the session)
- If you have not previously worked with me before you will need to fill out my pre-program forms.
- Register onto the Professional S&C smartphone app system (if you have a + Program ticket). You will get a link after purchasing a ticket.
- Watch the pre-session video learning material on the 'online event page' associated with this event.
- Call/message/email the coach to ask any questions (suitability of the venue or park you have chosen might be something you want to ask). Or you might want to have a trial log on to make sure logging on live on the day is smooth and without problems. Anything to get set for the event.
STEP 4
(During the session)
Please be aware that the session will be recorded so it can be edited and you can re-watch it later (see below).
Session flow on the day
#1 Log-on up to 15minutes before start and meet the coach. Ask any questions you may have.

#5- Official End of session
#6- Stop behind chat to help go over anything extra.
* Recording will include sections #2-5 (i.e. not #1 or #6). Also any glitches or problems will be edited.
Equipment Required
--- This is a practical workshop so you need a space suitable for the activity 10mx10m or more (your local park? if you are lucky enough to have a large garage?)
--- Smartphone with data to watch the session (a 4G signal is usually good enough).
--- Someone with you (safety and as an eye on you to feedback)
--- Hydration (water)
--- Skipping rope
--- Cones or something to mark the ground (calk?, can of beans?, shaving foam on grass?, wherever you have)

--- Small agility hurdles
STEP 5
(After the session)
Tickets with live workshop: A recording of the event mentioned previously (see above 'during the session') will be made available on the 'online event page' and accessible for 7 days. So if you miss something at the live event you can re-watch.
If follow-up program was purchased: 1-month Speed Agility Plyometric Online Coaching along with smartphone app.

About the Coach
Martin Gallyer has been a Fully Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach since 2008. Work appointments in sport have included two World Cups (2010 and 2020) with National Teams and working with athletes competing at World Championships, Caribbean Championships, European Championships, World-Class Program Athletes, Professional Sport (Football/Soccer, Cricket, Netball), Government Funded Talent Schemes, University Talent Schemes, Private Talent Schemes and National Governing Body Programs.
Academic Qualifications include a Masters Degree in Strength and Conditioning with Distinction Grade.
Before working in the Carribbean (and pre-covid of course) Martin used to run a weekly speed-agility session as part of a young athlete program. Graduates from this program are now playing professionally in Football and Netball.
