What to expect:
- Age Category: 50-65. (Keep your eyes peeled for future events catering to different age groups!)
- Registration: Begins at 7pm. Upon arrival, you will receive your name badge and instructions on how to fill out our online scorecard after each date.
- The Speed Dating Experience: Starts at 7:30pm. Enjoy a 4-minute date, followed by a minute to score your experience, before our hosts guide you to your next match.
- Scorecard Choices: Indicate whether you're interested in pursuing a second date, just a friendship, or if you prefer not to continue on the scorecards at the end of each date. Your choices will be sent to the team who will send out notifications the next day. Matches are made when both parties select the same option, ensuring clarity and avoiding mixed signals.
- We've prepared some icebreakers and quick games to ease the first-date jitters which will be on each table!
- Note: This specific speed dating event is designed for straight participants. However, we are excited to announce that we will be hosting LGBTQ+ speed dating events in the near future. Stay tuned!
After the event:
- Match Notification: You will receive an email the day after the event informing you of your matches. The next steps are yours to take!
- Privacy Assurance: All personal information is kept secure and private. Contact details will only be exchanged between matched individuals once both have consented to share this information.
