Speed Friending Evening in Brighton - EVERY 3rd Thursday of the month

Our fith Speed Friending Evening is happening on Thursday 20th November🎉

Think of it as a relaxed, fun version of speed dating, but instead of romance, it’s all about making new friends. The aim is to create an easy-going, welcoming space where you can have genuine conversations, share some laughs, and hopefully leave with a few new connections.

The last event was booked out and full of fun and laughter. Lots of positive feedback and some lovely pictures capturing the feel of the event, pictures above.

This time there is a slight change to the event in that the whole speeding part of the evening will be divided by age, not just half of it. So it will be divided by under 45 and over 45 as requested by people. This means you will be talking to people in your age category, not to people with where there is a big gap eg. If you are over 45 you will be talking to other people over 45. If you are under 45 you will be with people who are under 45.

There will be someone downstairs in the pub to welcome you near the door and to point you in the direction of the bar and stairs (there is no lift unfortunately).

This Friendship Speed Evening is the ideal way to meet like-minded people locally without awkward icebreakers or pressure.

How it works:

• You’ll have 8–10 minutes chatting with each person before rotating.
• Breaks in between for drinks and casual conversation.
• A relaxed wrap-up at the end with time to mingle further.

**The "Concession" prices are for anyone struggling with money to try and make it a bit more affordable for everyone.
