Event description
This free Speed Mentoring session is open to those age 18 – 25 who are interested in gaining advice about the arts and cultural industries.

About this Event

"The speed-mentoring session allowed me to meet several arts professionals that I wouldn't have been able to interact with in such a useful way in any other setting. I left the event with personal contact emails, ideas for collaborative events, and generally a better sense of what direction I might want to move in in my own career in the arts."

Need inspiration, advice or want to build your artistic network? The speed mentoring session is open to those age 18 – 25 who are interested in the arts and cultural industries. Our mentors are artists and staff from a range of backgrounds, and can use their experience to support you to overcome challenges, provide inspiration or help you build your artistic practice or career.

"A very beneficial evening for anyone interested in a career in the museum sector!"

Join artists and creative professionals from Kettle’s Yard, Wysing Arts Centre, Cambridge Junction and University of Cambridge Museums for this speed mentoring session. Gather new advice and insights on your work and career. Share your challenges, exchange ideas and stories. You are in charge of the discussion. All of our mentors are easy to talk with, and happy to share their experiences and expertise.

Places are limited so book your free place in advance. Mentoring sessions will each last for 15 minutes, and you will get to sign up to at least two 1:1 sessions on the night. We’ll be in contact with which artists and staff will be available as a mentor before the event.
