The Colony Networking Group

The Colony Networking Group was founded in 2010 to organise events that support local businesses as well as local communities in the South Warrington area

From 2010 to 2015, The Colony Networking Group has been providing pay-as-you-go networking events that are informal, friendly and supportive to growth for businesses operating in the Liverpool-Manchester corridor. It has operated on a not-for-profit basis and offered non-membership based networking for those business owners who prefer a less formal and committed style of networking.

2015 saw the introduction of training workshops into the mix of small business events offered. The organisation has also split into two distinct sections - Colony Business and Colony Community

Colony Community launches in June 2015 and will run information events and workshops for parents. Its first event will be on family nutrition and wellbeing. Other topics on the agenda include family finances (wills and pensions), internet safety, and social media for parents.

The objective of The Colony Networking Group is to enable businesses and communities to access information and expertise from local services providers. By keeping business local and looking out for fellow business owners and community members, we can all contribute towards a thriving local business community and achieve 'Success in numbers'.
