What is a TeachMeet? A fun, informal event for sharing great ideas for teaching and learning with opportunities to meet other educators. The purpose is to enable teachers to share good practice, practical innovations and personal insights in teaching.

What's a Speedlearn? It's like TeachMeet presenting in a speed dating format, so there's no stress of standing up and speaking to a large audience, you'll just talk to 2 or 3 teachers at a time.

What should I expect? Entertainment, refreshments on arrival and lots of interesting ideas for Teaching & Learning that you could be using in your classroom the very next day. This is not a sales event, so no sales presentations please.

What do I need to bring? You're welcome to bring an idea you'd like to share or just a willingness to try a fresh idea.

What's TeachEat? After the event, you have the option of joining a group of us as we head over to the local pub: The Hare and Hounds, 400 Bolton Rd W, Ramsbottom, Bury BL0 9RY (

What are my parking options? Limited free parking for delegates is available on the school car park as well as on the playground which will be opened up for the event, however we will try to ensure school staff and speakers park here. We kindly ask people to carshare when possible and please be considerate to the local residents.
