Kevin Crossley-Holland is famous for his extraordinary ability to bring the medieval world back to vivid life.

Enjoy an hour of storytellings, readings and musings with the prize-winning poet and children’s author to discover how myths, legends and folktales still hold us spellbound.

About Kevin

Kevin Crossley-Holland is a well-known poet and prize-winning author for children and is currently President of the School Library Association. His Arthurian trilogy, The Seeing Stone won worldwide critical acclaim and has been translated into twenty-five languages. Kevin has translated Beowulf from the Anglo-Saxon, and his much-loved retellings of traditional tales include The Penguin Book of Norse Myths and British Folk Tales. His latest book, Scramasax, sequel to Bracelet of Bones and second in a series of Viking Sagas was published in February.  He Kevin also writes operas, plays and song cycles and teaches on myth, legend and folktale, in particular the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings.
