Spelling Techniques

This training provides all the information and resources you will need to implement a universal and targeted evidence-based approach for spelling in your setting.

It is underpinned by Engelmann’s theory of direct instruction and provides a supported and structured framework to improve spelling performance and assess progress.

Cost of this course includes:

  • Spaces for up to two members of staff from the same school
  • One follow up session to support implementation (online)*

*This could be for troubleshooting and/or action planning depending on the needs of the school.

Please note this course is for staff members who work in West Northamptonshire settings only.
