This half-day course will be delivered by Kelly Ashley.
—To explore the multi-strategy approach to spelling (ear, eye, hand, brain) to develop children’s ability to ‘word solve’
—To analyse spelling patterns in children’s writing to determine next steps
—Explore ideas for developing spelling investigations as part of spelling instruction
* Teachers will need to bring samples of writing for a few children to the course for analysis
