Spend Green – A local, sustainable solution to corporate consumerism
About the session
In this session, Liz Christou, founder of Spend Green CIC, will introduce a powerful new grassroots model. Its focus is building sustainable, more equitable, creative and resiliant local economies, that can challenge the 'convenience is king' lure of giant corps that we're trapped in.
Spend Green is an online marketplace launching initially in the BH postcode. It's designed to showcase the incredible sustainable, independent businesses in our communities and make them accessible — helping to shift consumer behaviour away from big corporations and towards greener, local alternatives.
