On 12th and 13th September, walkers of all ages and abilities have the chance to get outside and explore the beauty, history and heritage of the Sperrins and Killeter regions.  Walks are available at a variety of levels including easy strolls (perfect for families and budding nature photographers), moderate treks and challenging walks across some of the country's most dazzling landscapes.  So whether you’re looking to get active, enjoy a family day out, unlock the hidden gems of the region or even raise money for your favourite charity, the Sperrins and Killeter Walking Festival provides the perfect opportunity to get outside and explore. 

Saturday 12th September, Sperrins Challenging Walk

9am Start: CHALLENGING ‘WALK THE ULSTER APPALACHIAN WAY’: connecting Glenelly and Killeter is the International Appalachian Way Ulster- a section of the Ulster Way challenging for its distance and variety of hillside and trail walking.

Registration is at Watt's Bar, Plumbridge.

Please arrive no later than 8.30am to begin the walk.

Participant Consent / Medical Form to be completed on the day.
