Event Details

On 12th and 13th September, walkers of all ages and abilities have the chance to get outside and explore the beauty, history and heritage of the Sperrins and Killeter regions. Walks are available at a variety of levels including easy strolls (perfect for families and budding nature photographers), moderate treks and challenging walks across some of the country's most dazzling landscapes. So whether you’re looking to get active, enjoy a family day out, unlock the hidden gems of the region or even raise money for your favourite charity, the Sperrins and Killeter Walking Festival provides the perfect opportunity to get outside and explore.

Saturday 12th September, Sperrins Moderate Walk

10am Start: MODERATE ‘TRADITIONS IN OUR LANDSCAPE WALK’:  an archaeological and human heritage walk visiting landscape features unique to the Barnes area of the Sperrins AONB, including a traditional scone-making display/tasting welcome back

Registration is at Watt's Bar, Plumbridge. Please arrive no later than 9.30am to begin the walk.

Participant Consent / Medical Form to be completed on the day.
