We love a good ghost story! Join us on Hallowe'en as we delve into the gruesome history of Winchester on a walking tour of this ancient city. Naturally, we'll need to warm our cockles before setting out so the evening will start with a specially fortified hot chocolate made by local chocolatiers, Chococo.
Once we've had our chocolate fill, we'll lead you through the city, explaining some of the more gory and ghoulish histories we've learned since our time here. And if we're not suitably spooked by the end of the tour, we'll go behind the scenes at the Green Man Pub to learn about their resident spirits!
The evening will end with a winter warmer cocktail in the Edwardian dining room and a chance to share your own ghost stories with your tour companions over a hot bowl of food!
Tickets are just £35 per person, which includes:
Chococo Hot Chocolate with rum
Guided walking tour of the city centre (lasting approximately 45 minutes)
A hot cocktail and bowl of food to warm you up after the tour
A ghoulishly sweet treat to end the night on
How long will the event last?
The event will last approximately 2 hours.
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
This event is only open to persons aged 18 years old and over. If you are lucky enough to look under the age of 25, we shall ask you to show ID on the night in order to gain entry to the event.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
As this event involves drinking spirits, we'd recommend making your way on public transport or by taxi. The event will start at Chococo and end at the Green Man Pub on Southgate Street. Both venues are approximately a 10- to 15-minute walk from Winchester train station.

Is my registration/ticket transferable?
We are unable to offer transfers or exchanges on the tickets once purchased.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Please bring a printed copy of your ticket to the event or have your ticket ready on your smartphone to show at the door.
What is the refund policy?
Bookings may be cancelled and refunded, subject to a cancellation fee of £3.50 per ticket, up to 1 month prior to the event. Bookings cancelled within 1 month of the event are non-refundable.
We require minimum numbers to run this event. In the unlikely event that we are unable to run this event we will contact you at least 48 hours in advance to arrange a refund.
Will there be photographs?
There may be an event photographer present at the event so please do let us know before the start of the event if you do not wish for your photograph to be posted online or used for publicity purposes.
Do I need to tell you if I have any food allergies?
Our events are centred around food and drink, produced with myriad ingredients and production processes. Please let us know in advance if you have any allergies by emailing email@example.com.
