Spitalfields Spring Organ Series - Daniel Moult (London)
Mon 24 April 2017, 19:00 – 21:30 BST
Daniel Moult was Organ Scholar at St John's College, Oxford, before becoming a fellow of the Royal College of Organists and then assistant Director of Music at Coventry Cathedral. Daniel has worked with numerous choirs, made several recordings, worked in broadcasting and film work and is much in demand as a teacher.
Daniel's programme will include Walsh, Purcell, Handel, Stanley and Mozart.
The Richard Bridge organ at Christ Church Spitalfields is a historic instrument and was restored by William Drake Ltd in 2015. Originally built in 1735, the organ is the best preserved example of Richard Bridge's work and the largest of his instruments.
Christ Church Spitalfields is proud to present a number of organ concerts this year. The Spring Series will include concerts by Daniel Moult, Johannes Geffert and Ann Page, and an Autumn Series will follow.
